A COREN‑certified engineer and Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, he has contributed to major national projects including the Escravos Gas‑to‑Liquids (EGTL) Project, and has held senior roles in engineering, project management, and energy‑sector security.

His public service career includes youth mobilisation, advisory roles, and leadership positions within the Delta State Government. As Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd, he oversees one of the country’s most significant security operations, combating pipeline vandalism and crude oil theft while strengthening national energy resilience. His entrepreneurial portfolio spans marine logistics, petroleum services, and labour administration, reflecting broad expertise and operational excellence.

A respected traditional leader and philanthropist, High Chief Pondi is known for his contributions to peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and regional development. He brings to ONS 2026 a vital perspective at the intersection of energy security, infrastructure protection, and regional stability.
