NBP and NAPTIN Announce High‑Level Delegation to Vaasa Energy Week 2026, Coordinated in Finland with VASEK

Nordic Bridge Partner AB (NBP) and the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) have announced a strategic collaboration to bring a high‑level African delegation to Vaasa Energy Week 2026 —one of the Nordic region’s most influential gatherings for global energy leaders. The event will be held on 16 – 19 March, 2026 and NBP will coordinate on‑ground activities in Finland together with VASEK (Vaasa Region Development Company), the official host of the event.

Vaasa Energy Week 2026

The delegation will include senior decision‑makers, regulators, utility executives, and experts from across the power and oil & gas sectors. Their participation reflects a shared commitment to deepen Nordic–African cooperation and strengthen the exchange of knowledge, innovation, and practical solutions for the energy transition.

Hosted in Vaasa, Finland —widely recognised as the Energy Capital of the Nordics— Energy Week brings together more than 1,000 participants and over 100 organisations from across the global energy ecosystem. Delegates will take part in expert‑led discussions, industry roundtables, collaborative workshops, and knowledge‑exchange forums covering renewable integration, grid modernisation, digital utilities, hydrogen, industrial electrification, and clean‑fuel technologies.

Through close coordination between NBP and VASEK, the delegation will also benefit from curated networking engagements, B2B and B2G meetings, and site visits to leading Nordic utilities, training centres, and technology providers. These activities are designed to support meaningful dialogue, peer learning, and long‑term partnership development.

NBP emphasised the value of the initiative:
“Energy transition is not a regional project; it’s a global one. By connecting African decision‑makers with Nordic expertise and networks, we’re helping build bridges that lead to practical solutions, shared learning, and long‑term cooperation.” says Francis Otuoba, Managing Partner of Nordic Bridge Partner AB.

NAPTIN highlighted the importance of the programme for African organisations:
“Our participation in Vaasa Energy Week is about more than attending an event—it’s about positioning African organisations at the centre of global energy conversations. We want our delegates to return with insights, relationships, and opportunities that can drive real change at home.” says Mr. A. B. Nagode, Director General, National Power Training Institute of Nigeria.
